Profile Overview:

Regional Sales Manager – Google Cloud Platform (GCP) will be responsible for driving cloud sales, business growth, and customer success in the assigned region. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing key enterprise accounts, and working closely with internal teams and Google Cloud partners to deliver cutting-edge cloud solutions.

This position offers the opportunity to work with a leading Google Cloud Premier Partner, expand cloud adoption across industries, and contribute to the digital transformation journey of enterprises

Key Responsibilities::

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a regional sales strategy to achieve revenue targets.
  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and prospecting.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, decision-makers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Manage and mentor a team of sales professionals, driving high performance.
  • Revenue & Pipeline Management: Own the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with pre-sales, marketing, and technical teams to deliver customized solutions.
  • Market & Competitor Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
  • Contract Negotiation & Deal Closure: Lead negotiations and finalize deals to maximize profitability.

General:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  •  8-10 years of experience in B2B Sales, Cloud Solutions, SaaS, or Enterprise Sales.
  • understanding of cloud technologies (e.g., IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and their applications.
  • Strong track record of exceeding sales quotas and closing complex deals.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and consultative sales skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, AWS, or SaaS solutions is a plus.
  • Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) for pipeline management. Willingness to travel within the Mumbai region for client meetings and business development.
